Luke Perry Has Died At Age 52 After Suffering A ‘Massive’ Stroke

TMZ – Luke Perry — the TV icon and heartthrob who rose to fame on “Beverly Hills, 90210” — has died after suffering a massive stroke … TMZ has learned.

Luke passed away Monday morning at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Burbank. According to his rep, Luke was surrounded by his children Jack and Sophie, fiance Wendy Madison Bauer, ex-wife Minnie Sharp, mother Ann Bennett, step-father Steve Bennett, brother Tom Perry, sister Amy Coder, and other close family and friends.

As we first reported, he was rushed to the hospital last Wednesday morning after suffering the stroke while at his Sherman Oaks, CA home. According to the emergency dispatch audio — obtained by TMZ — paramedics received a call for a stroke at the residence. We’re told when EMTs arrived, he was responsive and talking … but his condition deteriorated.

His reps said doctors had sedated Luke, hoping to give his brain a fighting chance to recover from the trauma of the stroke … but apparently, the damage was too extensive.

This is awful. Luke Perry has died at the age of 52 due to complications from a “massive” stroke suffered last week. Luke Perry was a teen icon during the 90s thanks to his role as Dylan McKay on Beverly Hills, 90210. I was too young to appreciate the show as a kid, but after watching reruns, you could tell that Perry was a rockstar. In fact, Perry’s Dylan McKay unfairly held him back from future roles because people could not see him playing any other character. He was that good. Recently, Perry was thriving in the role of Fred Andrews on Riverdale, which is an enjoyable show that I watch every week. The cast of Riverdale always discusses how much of a family they are so I know this loss in particular will hit home. From what I’ve read on Twitter, Luke Perry was an extremely nice and caring person, which in 2019, is so refreshing to hear. RIP Luke Perry. Thoughts and prayers to his family.

Riverdale Season 3 Trailer Has Polly Holding The Twins Above A Fire

Riverdale Season 3 premieres on October 10, but speculation is building for what’s to come as filming is underway in Vancouver. The cast took a break from filming to fly down to California for San Diego Comic-Con. The big reveal was the teaser trailer for Season 3. Most of the 2:55 clip is a recap of Season 2, where Archie was arrested in the finale’s final scene. However, the last 50 seconds provided fans with a first look at Season 3. Archie is seen at Pop’s with Veronica, Betty, and Jugghead as he states that it was the “worst Summer ever.” I wonder why… The foursome are then seen swimming and acting like normal couples.

However, it’s the final scene of the trailer that will leave you in awe. Betty walks downstairs and onto the deck of either her house or the “farm” to see Polly and Alice holding up the twins, Dagwood and Juniper, over the fire.

What the hell is going on? Is this a human sacrifice? Why are babies being held over the fire? Perhaps this is a scene that is paying homage to The Lion King and “The Circle of Life.”

I have no idea. All I know is that I will be tuning in on October 10 to see what’s in store for Riverdale.

Video: I Am All In On Riverdale

CW / Riverdale

I’m hooked. I’m obsessed. I can’t shake it and I honestly have no idea why. I am all in on Riverdale.

I will admit. I am a little late to the game so shoutout to all the diehard fans before me. I’m new to the gang so I hope you welcome me into the Rivervixens with open arms instead of stabbing me at Pop’s. A couple weeks ago, I was sick and decided to go on a Netflix binge. I remember hearing things abut Riverdale and saw they won every award at the Teen Choice Awards. If you don’t know by now, I still have the mind of a teenager so these young adult shows are right up my alley.

22 episodes later and I am hooked. It’s dark, it’s entertaining, and it’s an enjoyable watch. To better describe my love for Riverdale, check out my latest video on our YouTube Channel. Subscribe, like, and comment!
