It’s time to talk about the podcast. Towards the end of last year, myself, Sap, and Producer Jim all felt that we needed to take a brief hiatus on the podcast. Not a boy band hiatus like One Direction, but a few months off to recharge and regroup. Also, Producer Jim was trying to become a lawyer and he traveled across the country for about a year in Internet time (maybe a few weeks, real time, give or take). In other words, the dungeon was off limits for the time being. I focused on original video and blogging while Sap focused on getting our Instagram account suspended. We always knew we would reunite for Season 2. It was a matter of when, not if.
So, long story short, we took our talents to the dungeon this past week and got the band back together.
Sometimes, a brief hiatus is actually needed to improve the product. That was the case here. It’s like we never left honestly. The chemistry is still there, folks. Our team is coming up with new ways to expand on the podcast so look for more content in the near future.
Without further ado, Season 2 of the Daily Mix Report Podcast. We discussed the Evil Genius, the Lil Tay saga, and our pathetic love lives on dating apps. Enjoy.

BACK IN A NEW YORK GROOVE!
The boys are back from hiatus and we had a lot to get into. We wrote about some important topics throughout our hiatus such as Game of Thrones, WFAN, and the Giants / Jets, but we never got to talk about them as a group. So the boys were firing today.
We talked about the status of WFAN, the feuds in pop music, and if I am a psycho when it comes to television and movies. I seem to only be watching dark dramas about murder and corruption so I brought that to the table and asked LordTreeSap and Producer Jim if I have a problem or not. I honestly think I might…
If you like what you hear, have suggestions, comments, want to rip the show to shreds, comment below, hit us up on social media, come to our houses, etc. Ok, DO NOT come to our houses, but if you see us out at a bar, stop us and let us know how you feel.
Here’s the Cheat Sheet

Welcome to the 2nd Ever 2017 Daily Mix Report Podcast Fantasy Football Special. The Fantasy trio is back as DG, LordTreeSap, and Brandon Trager are back to get you ready for your fantasy football draft
First things first, the article picture. This was our 8th grade travel football team. If you can believe it, this was the only picture that I could find with all 3 of us in it. It’s 11 years old! That being said, it’s a legendary picture. LTS with the skull cap (sick bro!), BT with the old school Justin Bieber haircut as he’s about to sing “One Time,”, and I’m ready to sell someone insurance. GTs, fellas. GTs.
Now that we got that out of the way, the show has it all. We covered our bold statements and predictions from last season that will give everyone a few laughs. Sap’s still waiting for Lamar Miller to be a Top 5 RB. From there, we broke down position by position our way. You all know Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers will be beasts. So instead, we just stated our break outs stars, busts, and potential sleepers for each position (looking at you, Jay Cutler. Yeah, I said it. Sleeper QB). Will Jameis take the next step to glory? Can Beast Mode be Beast Mode again? How long should you sit before drafting a QB?
All that and more on the podcast. Give it a listen and win your league.
Or, just get drunk at your draft and have fun. Either one works.

Tommy G returned to the dungeon to talk about post abroad life. If you don’t remember, we had Big Tom on before his trip to Italy. We soon found out that Tommy lived large in Italy. Traveling, crazy stories, the whole nine yards. We covered it all so enjoy the interview.
Tommy G joined the boys in the dungeon to discuss his recent study abroad trip to Italy. We talked about the end of Ladies Night at Murphy’s (2:00 – 8:20), Tommy’s trip abroad / memorable stories / favorite trips (8:20 – 32:00).

We hope everyone had a solid MDW. For me, this is the true start of the summer so we all recapped our extravaganzas. We also got into the Worst Days of the Year. Is Tuesday after Memorial Day #1?
On the show today we brought in Zack Furman, one of DG’s good friends for over a decade. With close friends means personal stories are a must so we had a few to share. The topic of crying and when the last time you did it came up, which brings us to the Seaside Crying Story from DG…. Spoiler alert: You get an inside look at one of DG’s many low points so laugh away. We also got into City shenanigans (broken doors?), movies and some football stories from back in the day.
***DG NOTE*** Not a good look for me, but I was 19 in that story. Just a young buck trying to make it in the world. Also, I dare anyone to challenge me in a Free Bird air guitar battle.
We also brought on our Hot Takes expert Jarod Gos to talk about the start of the “NBA Season,” KD’s return to the Thunder, and LaMelo Ball.
Summer is here so the boys recap their Memorial Day Weekends (2:12 – 7:20) and talk about the Worst Days of the Year (7:21 – 11:00). What is going on with Tiger Woods? (11:30 – 18:00). The Michael Jackson Lifetime Movie (yes, there was one) (18:00 – 22:00). We then brought Zack Furman on the show to discuss high school stories, movies, and the last times we have all cried. If you need to get dirt on us, use these crying stories (22:10 – 42:00). We wrapped up with our resident Hot Take Expert, Jarod Gosule, and talked NBA Finals, Kevin Durant’s return to the Thunder, and the LaMelo Ball mixtape (42:05 – 56:00).

The boys return to the dungeon with a much anticipated guest making his return, the infamous “Sisi.” Everyone in Yorktown that’s graduated within the last decade has at least heard of or has a relationship with the sandal wearing legend.
Things got good when we got into Sisi’s best memories and party stories from Yorktown to visiting colleges. Whether it was him somehow surviving a Joe Cardone powerbomb or dancing naked on rooftops in Keene, or pulling off the signature slam-dunk in beer pong there’s nobody like him out there. The guy hasn’t paid for anything in New Hampshire since.
Check out the rest of the episode here, where the gang chops it up about their epic in-house basketball match ups and the possibility of LeBron overtaking Jordan as the G.O.A.T. You’re sure to have a few laughs with the guys.
